Peace and Joy

Sorry I've taken forever to update my blog. I feel like everything has been going so fast lately and I forgot you Englishreading people. I really am sorry.

I promise to update later today or tomorrow about everything that has happened to me.
For now I'll leave you with this supersweet "facebook-letter" I got from Erin the other day. Gosh I miss her. And how I miss Hawaii. I'm 80% sure that I'll be back for Winter semester.

xoxo

intent.

I'm waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting...

Why is life just a big wait? I have like zero patience..

Friday & Saturday action.

Friday was very eventful! To start the day off, I ironed the dress for a final fitting on Emma Lund, and then (around 4 am, after spending the whole day in my PJ's) getting ready for the graduationrecetions that we were going to.

First stop: Christian Lund, congratulating and mingling with him and the other peeps that I know, while eating this amazing potato salad! (Everyone closest to me knows that I totally love potatoes!) Meanwhile, Me and Sabine hung out with Stephanie, Filip, Christian, Markus, Emma and Christian's friends (who's name I think was Fredrik) and our mother hung out with the grown-ups.

About an hour later me and Sabine took off to Johanna OlergÄrd's graduation reception in Haninge, but we couldn't stay for very long since we had to go get mum at the Lund's house. But by the time we got back, the party started for real and we ended up partying with one girl from our ward in the kitchen, jamming at the piano, leading out to the living room where we danced (and I taught the others the "Cupid shuffle") after all the relatives had gone home and we partied with them and the only one left was the family and their neighbor.

Saturday has been full of niceness with twilight, chill and the finishing off the dress. I'm finally a good $80 richer.

have a taste . have a taste . have a taste

Here's a little taste of the other dress that I'm making. Sorry that the dress kinda sucks as it is pasted into the print in Paint and not with Photoshop. Since I don't have Photoshop...

I said you can have whatever you like.

Singing along to T.I.'s - "Whatever You like" while sewing on the other girls dress. This one is for a formal dance, and has brown leaf-embroidered patterns on it. Really pretty actually.
I'll try it on her tomorrow.

Yesterday, at 11 am, I had another job interview. This time for a Street wear clothing store, really cool. And everything went super good and they want me to come work with them for a couple of hours on Monday to see how I fit into their team. SPLENDID!

Right after the job interview, I rushed home to change into my "I <3 Steph" t-shirt for her graduation ceremony. It's become a tradition for us to wear "team t-shirts" whenever one of us graduate High School. My friend Stephanie graduated High School yesterday, so we were all there to celebrate her. We were a very pretty looking bunch, I gotta say.

Me & my fav bikerjacket.

From last days job interview.

Masochist

I was making a pattern for a dress to myself last night, and when I was about to cut out pieces this morning I found that the fabric I intended to use wasn't enough. Crap!

I'm just gonna go through my fabric stack and se if I can find that butt-ugly dress I made a year ago and change it.

Cut, cut, cut.

Title & registration

So Dashboard songs are playing, constantly in my head while i go on with life here. I'm sorry I haven't written in a long time. Much has been on my mind, and a lot of things have had to be done.

I've finished and sent in all my entrance project stuff for the 'Pattern Constructor' program, had 3 job interviews - where one was a disaster, with a super hoity stuck-up guy, but the others were good, I've gone to another wedding (my mum's cousins wedding), had a birthday party for my sister, sketched on dresses for two girls that have ordered some, cleansed out my room (for reals this time) and gone on mini-road trips in the sun with my sisters and my best friend, started reading books, and the list can go on and on.

So safe to say, I've had a lot to do.

Pictures? Yes! :D
Enjoying the sun in my Sunny hometown with my sisters.

Time for giving a talk in church.

Printing a shirt for Birthdayboy Paul two weeks ago.

Celebrating my sisters 20th birthday the other week with my Dad&his wife Elena (she's from the Philippines, did I tell you that?)

Shopping for fabric to my best friends graduation dress and enjoying the gleaming sunshine Stockholm City has to offer.

with 7eleven strawberry yoghurt ice-cream. I swear, 7eleven in Sweden isn't even close to as crusty as the ones in Hawaii. I promise! You would faint if you knew the NICENESS of 7eleven here!

Roadtripping it out!

I made a picture wall! Can you see yourself in it? If not, sen me a picture and I'll put you up on it! :D

Crazy weekend

Anna, Yoyo, Me, My sis Sabine & Bailee.

On Friday night, a musical firesite was held in our stake centre with members of the BYU Young Ambassadors groups. Afterwards, we picked up two girls that were gonna stay at our house for a few days, Bailee and Oyoyo (Yoyo). Supersweet and funny girls!

On Saturday morning, very early, me and my sister dropped them off for their breif siteseeing tour and then met up with them and two of their fellow groupmembers and showed them some good Swedish shopping. 3 hours later and about $130/spent each, we walked them back to their next performance.

Later Saturday evening they had their big Young Ambassadors show [with about 50 people and 10 in the band), which was so good! A lot of musical pieces and musik/dances from different eras.

Today they left for Finland, which is the final stop on their tour. Kinda unfair that they had to leave so fast, we ahd so much fun. Its funny how you just klick with some people instantly.

But we'll keep in touch.

So this weekend I've pretty much slept a total of 8 hours in 2 days. I'm so dead!

LA, no LA.

This is such a long story. I'll try to make it shorter, but basically: My advisor was printing out my visa papers, wanted me to send my government loan papers in, then emailed me back that I need a statement for $18000 more for living expenses, which I totally didn't know of. So I started adding things up, looking at my living options and decided that the total amount of like $80'000 in loan money, when I'm done, isn't something that I can afford and want to pay off for the rest of my life. So I'm staying here to do a somewhat similar education, but way cheaper. :( But I'm definitely planning on visiting you guys this Fall so don't worry!

Meanwhile I'm applying for jobs and Classes here for Fall which is exciting. I like school.

Passenger Seat

Last night when I was playing Piano, my sister fell asleep. Wonderful wonderful feeling. I must be doing something right then? haha!

I'm mostly just loving the fact that my sister just fell asleep while I was playing piano.

It was Death Cab's - Passenger Seat.

Speechless

Feels like I have always known you, and I swear I dreamt about you.
All those endless nights I was alone.
It's like I've spent forever searching, now I know that it was worth it.
With you it feels like I am finally home.

Falling head over heels, thought I knew how it feels, but with you it's like the first day of my life.

'Cuz you leave me speechless, when you talk to me. You leave me breathless, the way you look at me. You managed to disarm me, my soul is shining through. Can't help but surrender my everything to you.

I thought I could resist you, I thought that I was strong.
Somehow you were different from what I've known.
I didn't see you coming, you took me by surprise
and You stole my heart before I could say no.

Falling head over heels, thought I knew how it feels, but with you it's like the first day of my life.

You leave me speechless, when you talk to me. You leave me breathless, the way you look at me. You manage to disarm me, my soul is shining through. I can't help but surrender, my everything to you.

You leave me speechless (the way you smile, the way you touch my face).
You leave me breathless (it's something that you do I can't explain).
I'd run a million miles just to hear you say my name.
Baby, you leave me speechless.
You leave me breathless (the way you look at me).
You manage to disarm me, my soul is shining through. I can't help but surrender my everything to you.

- The Veronicas

Work Work Work

So this is whats up: The job interview went super well. The job is mine and I'll be starting mid-May. Woho! The lady that interviewed me was really nice and funny. I'll be working in their store, in the office and front desk. I'll even be waitering. It's out in the archipelago, they have a car that I can borrow to work&back home, pool access, boat acces, I'll have to take the 8min ferry over to the island but its is so nice. Takes me about 45 min from home to get to work, but since its the opposite way to work from what I used to travel to work, I'll be so much nicer, and traffic "free".

Peace peeps.
