I was making a pattern for a dress to myself last night, and when I was about to cut out pieces this morning I found that the fabric I intended to use wasn't enough. Crap!

I'm just gonna go through my fabric stack and se if I can find that butt-ugly dress I made a year ago and change it.

So Dashboard songs are playing, constantly in my head while i go on with life here. I'm sorry I haven't written in a long time. Much has been on my mind, and a lot of things have had to be done.

I've finished and sent in all my entrance project stuff for the 'Pattern Constructor' program, had 3 job interviews - where one was a disaster, with a super hoity stuck-up guy, but the others were good, I've gone to another wedding (my mum's cousins wedding), had a birthday party for my sister, sketched on dresses for two girls that have ordered some, cleansed out my room (for reals this time) and gone on mini-road trips in the sun with my sisters and my best friend, started reading books, and the list can go on and on.

So safe to say, I've had a lot to do.

Crazy weekend

Anna, Yoyo, Me, My sis Sabine & Bailee.

On Friday night, a musical firesite was held in our stake centre with members of the BYU Young Ambassadors groups. Afterwards, we picked up two girls that were gonna stay at our house for a few days, Bailee and Oyoyo (Yoyo). Supersweet and funny girls!

On Saturday morning, very early, me and my sister dropped them off for their breif siteseeing tour and then met up with them and two of their fellow groupmembers and showed them some good Swedish shopping. 3 hours later and about $130/spent each, we walked them back to their next performance.

Later Saturday evening they had their big Young Ambassadors show [with about 50 people and 10 in the band), which was so good! A lot of musical pieces and musik/dances from different eras.

Today they left for Finland, which is the final stop on their tour. Kinda unfair that they had to leave so fast, we ahd so much fun. Its funny how you just klick with some people instantly.

But we'll keep in touch.

So this weekend I've pretty much slept a total of 8 hours in 2 days. I'm so dead!

LA, no LA.

This is such a long story. I'll try to make it shorter, but basically: My advisor was printing out my visa papers, wanted me to send my government loan papers in, then emailed me back that I need a statement for $18000 more for living expenses, which I totally didn't know of. So I started adding things up, looking at my living options and decided that the total amount of like $80'000 in loan money, when I'm done, isn't something that I can afford and want to pay off for the rest of my life. So I'm staying here to do a somewhat similar education, but way cheaper. :( But I'm definitely planning on visiting you guys this Fall so don't worry!

Meanwhile I'm applying for jobs and Classes here for Fall which is exciting. I like school.

Last night when I was playing Piano, my sister fell asleep. Wonderful wonderful feeling. I must be doing something right then? haha!

I'm mostly just loving the fact that my sister just fell asleep while I was playing piano.

Four days ago, I celebrated my 3 months as a vegetarian. It's treating me really well. And I'm not having any trouble with it at all.

Work Work Work

So this is whats up: The job interview went super well. The job is mine and I'll be starting mid-May. Woho! The lady that interviewed me was really nice and funny. I'll be working in their store, in the office and front desk. I'll even be waitering. It's out in the archipelago, they have a car that I can borrow to work&back home, pool access, boat acces, I'll have to take the 8min ferry over to the island but its is so nice. Takes me about 45 min from home to get to work, but since its the opposite way to work from what I used to travel to work, I'll be so much nicer, and traffic "free".
