I love playing the piano. At home I play the piano everyday since its so nicely placed in our livingroom. But here i usually when I'm stressed out, have done homework for a really long time, am done with school or have absolutely nothing to do, I run over to our Piano Lounge and just play for a couple of hours. It really calms me down and helps me focus. Not to mention fills me with some spirituality.
My Mom is the Bomb on piano, seriously. (and my dad on the guitarr - Musical family huh? haha) When I was a kid, my Mom used to put me in her lap and play piano for me and sing. I have so many fond childhood memories of my Mom playing piano.
Gosh I miss my Mom. Its crazy how you miss your family this much when you're away. Me and my sisters and my mom have always been super close. It's always been just us four girls home to do all these crazy stuff.

Just a few pics from Winter ball. I had to leave at 11.15 för Turtle Bay and Brittany's & Heather's birthday party there. I heard the party over att PCC/Winter Ball really started when I left and everybody started dancing like maniacs. Fun for them :], but I was kinda glad to get out and go to TB.

A state of mind.

"Without you, today's emotions would be the scurf of yesterday's."

I'm confused, sad, bored, frustrated and happy at the same time. How come?

I just realized

THAT I'M IN THE PAPER!!!!!
I just picked up the new issue of the School Paper, and on page 4 - There I am!!! Oh My Gosh! It was totally cool. Lots of credits to Lucy Cammock!

I'm gonna try to scan it and publish it too. But,
Pick it up and read it!

Amelie

Last night i saw the movie Amelie, after Pauls' strict recommendations. Amelie was definetely one of the most odd, funniest and cutest feel good movies I've ever seen. In a completely strange, but humoristic way, the story about Amelie Poulain is told. You have to see it! My whole soul was exceedingly happy afterwards, and not to mention the tears of joy that went down my cheeks. I'm pretty sure that Amelie was what kept me up finishing my homework. So of course I had to get the theme songs from the Amelie soundtrack and listen to them.

This might be one off my top favorite movies.
See Amelie (Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain)

Can i just tell you

that I sat up till 4.30 am this very morning to finish my math homework.. And I have never been more proud of myself for actually staying awake for that long. Unbelievably enough, I'm not really that tired. But it's gonna be a long night. Winter ball & Birthday party.
I'm excited!

Birthday shopping

I got the most amazing gift for my sisters birthdays. Even though their birthdays are in May & June, I wanna give them something from the States. That makes it even more special. I know they're gonna love them. No doubt!

And I also got a gift for the one and only - B, who has her 19th birthday tomorrow.

I love shopping for birthday gifts! You guys have no idea how much I love shopping for gifts for other people. When Christmas time comes every year, I go crazy. Ask my family, they know.

Anyways. Good day, with good people, good food and good shopping.

Change of Plans

Daddio McPhee's flight was cancelled, he'll be here tomorrow. Looks lite we're doing some hike later or something. YES!

Vogue Paris

Right now I'm reading this uber-issue of Vogue Paris with a Chanel Special. Credits to Paul who picked it out at Broders yesterday!

The death of an Interior Decorator

Oh my gosh, so i totally skipped one of my classes so I'd be able to sit in the math lab and finish my homework, 3 chapters of homework to be exact. I got chapter 9.1's homework done, started 9.2, got frustrated with it and started 9.3. Long story short: I still have half of two chapters homework left.... Ugh. Note to everyone: I was in there from 1.15-7.15.. Oh my gosh! And also, I only had breakfast, so i had to run over to the caf real quick to eat something, which happened to be a nasty fish soup & rice. Then Paul and Sam started talking about rats and said something about my soup probably having rats in it, and I got totally disgusted and couldn't eat it all.
I had no time what so ever to finish up the tie dyeing, fixing of jeans or Heathers bag :(.

Straight after math lab I drifted off to Kaneohe with Paul to look for a bday present for B. But the mall was closing 30 minutes later so we ended up just hanging out at Borders finding books for each other and seeing "Knowing" (with Nicolas Cage) at the Regal Cinema. Good movie actually. Must have been a Mormon involved in making the movie somehow though. See it, you'll get what I'm saying. It was really cool! My mum would totally like it too because it kinda reminded me of "Signs" with Mel Gibson, which she really liked.

Thank goodness it's a "State Holiday" tomorrow. So more relaxing and free time for me, and my fellow schoolmates too for that matter. P's & B's dad's coming tomorrow for Brittany's birthday on Friday. I think we'll be hanging out with them (P, B & Daddie-o) tomorrow. Nice! I've only met him once, very briefly when he and their mom were here dropping B off in Hawaii. But they went to bed pretty quickly after I got there so i never really talked to them. It's always fun to meet friends parents, to see what they're like. :D

Minitrip to Waikiki tomorow. I'm checking out American Apparel for sure!

Peace

Mr Doctor

Time for me to go to Mr Doctor @ 10.30. Finally.. Im so sick of coughing and blowing my nose.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

HEATHER PORTER!
You are the bestest of the best, and I hope you've had the very best birthday so far!
Lots of LOVE!

Ke Alaka'i

So this very morning, Lucy, from my artclass, asked if I had some time after school because she wanted to do a story on me & FIDM for the school newspaper. I was so excited!
This whole day went by pretty fast, because I was so excited for this interview. I went back to my room, changed into my new-sewn skirt and waited patiently infront of our dorm for her and her photographer.

I guess we chatted for an hour or so, and I showed her my entrance projects and my closet. She asked me a bunch of questions and told me that it would be going of to print tomorrow already! (But I might have understood it slighty wrong). But in a near future, I'll be featured in BYU-Hawaii's very own "Ke Alaka'i" School Newspaper.

I cant wait to see how it all turned out!

Sad story

So I totally want ice cream. But I cant because both sugar and dairy will screw up my troat even more than it already is.

But the thing is, I just got back from Housing Office, where i withdrew my housing and filled out my discontinuing papers for BYUH. Man, I'm gonna miss this place.

Heart of Glass

I had to be pulled in to the Emergency Room on Wednesday night. Croup or something. I couldn't stop coughing, and could barely breath. They put and IV on my for dehydration, gave me painkillers & cough medicine. I don't really remember much from Wednesday night, I was so dizzy, but I know that I am unbelievably grateful for my friends that took care of me that night.

Doctors order? Bedrest and lots of fluids. Plus that cough medicine every 4th hour that they gave me.

So I'm okay, I've been better, but I'm okay.

The definition of a "jacqueline"
So i looked up my name on this site my friend wrote about in her blog, an i almost fell over cracking up! Seriously! This was my favorite definition:

"Jacqueline:
The hottest girl you'll ever meet. She has the most amazing eyes and will get amazing boobs and an amazing ass. she's the best person you'll ever hookup with, and I mean BOTH ways. She can seem shy at first but once you get to know her shes the bomb. Jacqueline is also a party girl and can get pretty crunk! She's very picky so if you get the chance to do anything with her then you better cause shes one in a million.

- Oh my god! she's so hot she must be a Jacqueline.

- You hooked up with Jacqueline? Your the luckiest person alive!"

Laundry is the only thing that should be separated by colour.

Exaclty! That is also what I'm doing right now. Since I don't have any other classes today.. I might go over to the Costume room anyways and start sewing om my skirt. I bought fabrics a couple of weeks ago to make a skirt out of.

Why I love my friends.

green hills and blue, blue skies.

I can barely believe that I'm going home in 31 days. I can't wait! But it is so bittersweet at the same time. I'm leaving all of my friends, Hawaii, my car, most of my closet (sadly enough).. Yes, you can all take a look at the stuff I'm leaving behind. Its gonna be so good to go home for just a few months, relax, pack, rebook, repack, reload.. alot of "re-"s in that home trip. And paperworks for FIDM. Plus, I get to see my family again. More specifically, my sisters. I can't wait to hug them again at the airport. For all they know, I could've gone on a flight to Hawaii, gotten pregnant, had the baby and got back on a flight home again. Haha! No, not really, they know everything that happens to me. It is really wierd not being able to see and hear everything that happens to them everyday, as I used to be able to when I was back home. But it feels good to finally do something with my life. As I was talking to my co-worker Ryan today, while running around the administration building to put barcodes on every "school purchased" painting, we both kind of realized that we don't really "belong" anywhere anymore. When you're home, that's where you belong, but when you leave, i.e. for Hawaii, you start a totally new life there and settle down and get used to your own, new rutines. I still feel a bit like I belong here and home in Sweden. Is that possible? My heart will have bits and pieces of it everywhere. And not to forget London, even though I only lived there for 2 months when I got a scholarship to go there in High School.

Enough said. I miss home. I'm ready to go Home.

Peace

10.30-12.05 NAP! (exhausted brain and body)

14-15 Get iron, ironboard and scissors for the Relief Society activity later on.
15-15.45 Taxes with and ISS person
15.45-17 Work
17-18 Study for Math exam
18-18.30 Put up everything for the R.S. activity in the Stake Centre
18.30- ca20 The actual activity - Tshirt-remake-night.
20-21 Quick review for mathtest
21-22.30 Taking the Mathtest
22-23 Reward myself with a movie. Guess which one it turned out to be? Spice World! Nostalgic much? Even though it might be one of THE worst movies ever made, i cant help but smile and remember my childhood days. You gotta love Spice Girls a little huh?

Mathtest score from a busy day with a cold:
96% (A) YES!

"Charity Never Faileth", God should know!
And bonuspoints for the "Relief Society" Tee that we all were very impressed by, and a few lother girls discovered that i sew and design clothes.

So maybe I do have time to be sick after all? I mean, even though I had a really busy day and had to blow my nose every 30th second, i still got everybody happy and got a really nice score on my mathexam.
